Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Sami Halaseh Institute participates in Federal Title IV Student Aid programs to help make your education affordable.
Follow these simple steps to apply for federal aid and see what you might qualify for.
STEP 1 | GATHER DOCUMENTS
Before starting your FAFSA, gather your financial information — including your most recent Federal Tax Return (Form 1040) and W-2 forms.​
If you’re a dependent student, your parent(s) will also provide their tax return and W-2s.
If you’re an independent student, you’ll use your own tax forms.
You’re considered independent if any of these apply: You’re 24 or older • You’re married • You’re a parent • You’re a veteran • You were in foster care after 13 • You’re legally emancipated
STEP 1 | COMPLETE FAFSA
Visit studentaid.gov
Sign in using your FSA ID
Enter Sami Halaseh Institute School Code: 042798
Review and submit your FAFSA
If you’re dependent, your parent must sign electronically with their own FSA ID
Save your confirmation page​
After You Submit:
You’ll receive an email confirmation within a few days.​​
SHI’s Financial Aid Office will help you review eligibility, explain options, and help with next steps.
